Redan försenat tåg fick lokfel mellan Avesta och Hedemora

Ett redan kraftigt försenat tåg från Stockholm till Mora blev stående ett par timmar mitt i natten mellan Avesta och Hedemora. Orsaken var ett lokfel. Ett par hundra passagerare fanns ombord.

Sedan tåget bogserats tillbaka till Avesta-Krylbo fick passagerarna gå in i vänthallen. Klockan var då tre på morgonen.
Därefter kunde ett nytt tåg köra passagerarna vidare från Avesta-Krylbo. Från Borlänge och upp till Mora fick de åka buss. Ombord fanns bland andra passagerare som fått stå ute och vänta i Sala på det försenade tåget.
Problemen började i Stockholm då tåget inte kunde avgå i rätt tid 19.45 på fredagskvällen. Orsaken uppges vara att ingen lokförare var på plats. Först tolv minuter över tio kom tåget iväg.
Men mellan Avesta och Hedemora blev det stopp.
- Det var ett lokfel helt enkelt. Loket blev stående och vi fick kalla dit ett hjälplok från Falun som bogserade tillbaka tåget til Avesta, säger Tommy Andersson, pressinformatör på SJ.
- Vi såg till att vänthallen låstes upp och där var det varmt. Sen rullade det fram ett nytt tåg.
Resan tog alltså större delen av natten för de flesta. Särskilt drabbades de resenärer som skulle åka med till orterna norr om Borlänge och Falun.
